Each year, volunteers are recognized for their contribution to staging the Sound of Music Festival with both team and individual awards. In addition, our Volunteer of the Year award acknowledges the work of one individual who makes a significant contribution towards the success of the festival. 

Beginning in 2022, the Volunteer of the Year Award is named after a long time member of the volunteer roster, who tragically passed away in June 2022. Going forward, we are delighted to have this award be known as the Brandon Waller Volunteer of the Year Award. We are grateful to have had such an inspiring individual on our team, who faced immeasurable challenges and persevered with the Sound of Music spirit of community throughout his final days. Brandon, you will be forever remembered.
