About the Artist

Releasing their critically acclaimed debut album, Maybe One Day, in 2002, Not By Choice found themselves on a wild ride of success that included a win at the Much Music Video Awards, two appearances on Much Music’s chart-topping Big Shiny Tunes compilations, and too many miles on the road to count over a 14 month period.  In 2005, the band stopped touring after the campaign for 2004’s Secondhand Opinions, having had three years of sharing the stage internationally with the likes of Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Sum 41, New Found Glory, and many others.  Not By Choice reunited in 2017 to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of their first release.
