About the Artist
Alessia Cohle has been putting her own stamp on country music. She released her full-length debut album Talk To Me in 2016, and followed up that release with 6-track Wild Eyed Wanderer EP containing the hit singles, Wanderlust, which has over 10,000 views on YouTube, and Love Gone Right, which was added to Spotify’s Down Home Country playlist and has reached over 75,000 streams since it’s release.
The Mississauga native is coming off an incredible 2017 which saw her tour the West Coast aboard the VIA Rail Artist-on-board tour and performed at prominent summer festivals such as Lucknow’s Music in the Fields, Havelock Country Jamboree, Manitoulin Country Fest, and Cider Fest. Alessia was invited to perform as part of the house-band at CCMA Music Week both in 2016 and 2017, performing alongside Meghan Patrick, Jason Blaine, Dean Brody, Jess Moskaluke, Tim Hicks, and Aaron Pritchett, and has opened for Brett Kissel, River Town Saints, The Washboard Union, Small Town Pistols and George Canyon.
Alessia was the winner of the prestigious 2017 Ron Lenyk Inspiring Youth Arts Award from the Mississauga Arts Council, and in 2018 Alessia won Country Artist of the Year at the Mississauga Music Awards and the Vocalist of the Year at the MARTY Awards. Alessia was also named a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition and performed at the winner’s showcase in Nashville this past May 2018.
Alessia’s love for all styles of music has helped Alessia define and create her own unique musical style, joining the next wave of artists who continue to push the future of country music.
