Tim Hortons presents Sound of Music Festival>

Sound of Music Festival kicks off on June 13 with a one day, one stage, ticketed concert featuring: Weezer, Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul, Finger Eleven and more.  Get your tickets before the price goes up on June 13. FrontRow wristbands are available for TD Stage shows, all the fun minus the crowd plus port-a-potties and re-entry privileges. Available for $25, get them while they last. FrontRow for June 13 has sold out, general admission tickets are still available. 

Sound of Music Festival in partnership with ArcelorMittal Dofasco is pleased to once again offer Sweet Seats, an opportunity for guests to enjoy premium seating and hospitality services for TD Stage shows, 100% of the proceeds raised from these sales will be donated to charity. 

Headline acts for free concerts, June 18-21 include: Chad Brownlee, Shad, The Tea Party, Dear Rouge, Stars, Loverboy, David Wilcox, Aaron Pritchett, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Hollerado, Bobby Bazini, Alex Cuba, Deric Ruttan, Rik Emmett (of Triumph) and The Acoustical Sounds of Big Sugar. Keep an eye out for another addition to Sound of Music Festival this year, EDM, featuring electronic music: 4Korners, Joe Ghost, Jillionaire (of Major Lazer). The EDM segment takes place Saturday, June 20 in the afternoon, beginning at 1:00 pm.

The annual Grande Festival Parade is on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm.  A new Field Show will take place at Nelson High School following the parade.  The route will begin at Gary Allan Secondary School, travel along New Street, ending at Nelson Stadium.

Sound of Music Festival is excited to work with local partners and establishments to promote live original music featuring local talent. The free Sound of Music Club Series runs from Sunday, June 14 to Wednesday, June 17 with over 40 performances featuring acts such as: Tomi Swick, Dirty Jeans, Adam Cooke, Chris Chambers and Rich Cloke.  Check out these acts at downtown Burlington locations.
